Spring Fever

Well yesterday people sure must of had it because we had two people out in our department alone. I know that doesn't sound like much but that's half the crew. There was at least three guys MIA on the press and who knows about the mail room. I'm just glad we're finally starting to get the warm weather back. I just hope it holds out for the weekend.

Here's Bruno

Well here he is. Now this dog is the Devil in disguise. Sure when we went to pick him out of the litter he was all cute and licking our faces and would not leave us alone. Well now he's completely destroyed our kitchen set chewed all the chairs the table, and the wine cart. Forget it when he goes outside he'll eat anything grass, rocks, plants, and as you can see even his leed. I'm really surprised he's not chewing on my daughter's shoes in the other picture. I call him a little/big guy because he's only 6 months old but weighs almost 70 pounds. I guess it's just hard to let this little/big guy in because our last dog (Magnum) was one in a million an he only passed last July. But Bruno sometimes has a certain charm about him where I think with some more training and supervision he'll fit in just fine.
Luck O' the UnIrish

So my buddy is getting married this Saturday that's right ST. Patties Day. So first off I would like to welcome him to the club even though it's early. So are you supposed to match your wife when you go out to weddings and thing of that nature? I've known of this wedding for quite some time now and yes I still have to get a shirt and tie. Now I thought it would be cool to get a green shirt & tie because the wedding is on ST. Patties Day I tolled this to my wife as soon as I found out when the wedding was going to be. She even agreed with me, but what does she do she buys a silver & black dress witch buy the way looks really nice. So now what the hell do I do? Do I stick to my plan or do I get something to match. My other thing that's making me nervous is that my mother-in-law (Donna) is watching my kids this weekend a my house. Now she's very capable of doing this, but now she said that her boyfriend (Dan) might be staying their also. My wife and I have strick rules for the house we don't want anyone their wile were not witch should be understandable. I know Dan is really part of the family but I just feel weird with him sleeping in my house wile I'm not their. Also they smoke now I know the wont in my house but I don't want them sleeping in my bed. And then there's my brother-in-law's girl friend and daughter coming up from Florida. Now Donna thought Crystal (my wife) was going to let her visit at our house WRONG! When she says that she doesn't want anyone at the house she means it. Well this started an argument because she's only coming up for the weekend and could only fit Donna in on Sat. So needless to say I was getting nervous because I needed her to watch the kids, then Crystal said that she wasn't going and I freaked out, and told her to straighten everything out. Now it seems likes all is calm, but you know there's always a clam before the storm.

Just My Luck

Today is the big day there will be a lottery drawing for 370 million dollars. Now I don't know about you but who's not talking about this especially at work. I'm sure every company that's in a state where the Mega Millions is played has workers pulling there money together for some type of pool. So I get to work the same time I do every Tues. ask how everything is going were there any problems you know things of that nature. So I get the rundown of whats going on for the day/night. I'm at work for about an hour and a half when I get some time to stretch my legs. I go to the bathroom and when I come out I see one of my buddies from the night shift waiting to start his shift. Now he was talking to by boss so ofcorse I walk up and what do I say "Did you buy your Lottery ticket?" So he tells me that he bought a bunch right before he came to work and put in 5 bucks for the pool. I give him a blank stare and say "What pool?" Oh the one the guys on the first shift put together, and he gives me all the details. Where are they,I asked. um they just left he tells me. So I say to myself maybe it was only a press guy thing which still hurt because that's where I started out at. I go back in my office to get back to work when I come to find out that everyone I work with got in the pool but me. Now I was PISSED and I let everyone know about it. I mean how do you go around collecting for a pool and not see the BIG guy in the bright red shirt. Even when I came in I asked what's going on, but does anyone say there's a lottery pool in the main office? NO!!! If they win I'll be the only one here at work tomorrow. Needless to say I an very angry and hurt that I was just looked over. Another one of my friends saw how hurt I was she told me if they won that she would split her share with me. Now I don't know about you but if you won 6.5 million would you be willing to give half away? I don't know about that, but that would be great. Should I give her $2.50 tomorrow anyway?
